These two ingredient air fryer pigs in a blanket are the perfect appetizer or after school snack. Made with Smart Chicken’s juicy and organic sweet Italian chicken sausage, you can feel good feeding these sausages to your family.

Ingredients

  • 8 Smart Chicken Sweet Italian chicken sausage links, 2 packs, cut in half

  • 1 tube crescent rolls, 8 count, cut in half

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Directions

Add fitted parchment paper to the inside of your air fryer basket. Be sure to cut slits in the paper so any juices can drip down through the grates. DO NOT preheat the air fryer.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each crescent roll in half lengthwise. You’ll have 16 pieces total.

Cut the Italian chicken sausages in half. You’ll have 16 pieces total.

Roll one piece of the chicken sausage per one piece of crescent roll dough. You’ll have 16 pigs total. Refrigerate any pigs that aren’t being cooked.

Add 4 pigs to the prepared air fryer basket. Be sure they are standing up so the dough can cook evenly on all sides.

Carefully close and cook for 9-10 minutes at 300 degrees. Repeat as many times as needed. This will vary based on the size of your air fryer basket. My 4qt basket could hold 4 pigs at a time.
