These baked chicken drumsticks are the perfect weeknight meal. Simply season, drizzle with olive oil and bake. Serve these baked drumsticks with a side of rice or pasta for a delicious and easy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 Smart Chicken Drumsticks

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • cracked black pepper, to taste

  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a baking dish or rimmed sheet tray with non-stick cooking spray. I like to use a deeper dish to prevent any oil splatter from smoking.

Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel. Season it with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. Rub the seasoning on all sides.

Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 35-40 minutes (smaller drumsticks) 40-45 minutes for larger ones. Or, until the internal temperature reaches 170 degrees.

Be sure to turn them halfway through cooking. If they begin to get too brown simply cover with foil and finish baking. Remove from the oven and enjoy.
