Smoky Grilled Asparagus


Serves 4 (as a side)


  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed


Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. In a shallow dish, whisk the yogurt with the oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, and cumin. Add the asparagus and toss; let stand for 20 to 30 minutes.

Grill the asparagus, turning occasionally, until charred and tender, about 5 minutes. Serve warm.
