Zesty Peach-Glazed Chicken Wings
This unique spin on the game day classic is sure to be a new favorite. These simple wings are drizzled with a flavorful sweet and spicy glaze for a surprisingly simple and filling dish.
- 1 1/2 pounds Smart Chicken wings
- 1 21-ounce can peach pie filling
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (more or less to taste)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- Cracked black pepper
Preheat oven to 400° F
Line a baking sheet with foil. Spray lightly with cooking spray and arrange chicken wings side by side on foil. Sprinkle with kosher salt and cracked black pepper. Bake in oven for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, in food processor, combine peach pie filling, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Blend until smooth.
Remove chicken wings from the oven. Brush each wing with peach glaze. Return to the oven and bake for 10 additional minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove from oven again, rotate wings and brush glaze on the other side. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Switch oven temperature to broil setting. Allow wings to broil for 3 more minutes, or until light brown on the outside.
Serve with additional unused glaze if desired.
