Spicy Smoked Wings

Serves 2 to 4

With a spicy kick and subtle smoky flavor, these wings are the perfect appetizer for your next dinner party.

  • 2½ pounds Smart Chicken party wings
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1½ tablespoons salt
  • 1½ tablespoons black pepper
  • 1¼ cups sweet chile sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 4 scallions, sliced thinly

Heat a smoker to 250°F. Toss chicken wings with oil, salt, and pepper. Smoke the wings for 1 to 2 hours, or until internal temperature is 165°F. In a small saucepan, combine the chile sauce, honey, and Sriracha and bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer and reduce until the mixture becomes syrupy, then whisk in the butter. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with the sauce and scallions and serve.
