Soy-Based Marinade

Easy Recipe
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy or gluten-free tamari sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon peeled, diced fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons scallions, chopped
  • Optional: 4-6 dried hot chili peppers, chopped

Mix all ingredients in a non-reactive dish or gallon-sized zipper bag. Add chicken and toss to coat. Marinate the chicken for up to an hour, turning once or twice.
