Grilled Chicken Wings With Creamy Basil-Jalapeño Dressing

Makes about 24 wings

Prepping these wings ahead of time gives them plenty of time to marinate, so they’re ready to grill when you are.

  • 2 pounds Smart Chicken party wings
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

In the bowl of a food processor, combine salt, garlic, cumin, and thyme and blend into a powder. Season the wings with the spice mix and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat a grill to 350°F.

Toss the wings with olive oil and grill until cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

    • Basil-Jalapeño Dressing
    • 1 cup fresh basil
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1 jalapeño
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon mustard
    • 2 tablespoons lime juice
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 cup olive oil
    • Salt

    In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients except olive oil and blend into a smooth paste, then slowly drizzle in olive oil to emulsify. Adjust seasoning with salt and serve with wings.
