Caribbean Jerk Sauce

When you’re craving something even more flavorful for your grilled chicken, think sauce. Caribbean jerk sauce for chicken can transform a boring dinner into a meal you’ll be raving about.

  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Combine green onions, jalapeno, garlic cloves, cumin, paprika, thyme, kosher salt, cayenne pepper, and olive oil in a blender until smooth.

Brush sauce lightly over chicken as it grills.

This sauce can also be used as a marinade. To do so, place 4 chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour contents of blender over the chicken and cover. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour before grilling.
