- 1 large square puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups roasted and shredded Smart Chicken
- Franks Hot Sauce (enough to coat the chicken)
- Blue cheese crumbles
- Egg wash (1 egg combined with 2 tablespoons water), as needed
Unfold the puff pastry onto a floured surface and gently roll it out, just enough to remove creases. Make cuts about 1½ inches apart along the left and right sides of the pastry sheet, leaving a large space in the middle untouched. Combine the shredded chicken, hot sauce, and blue cheese crumbles and spread across the center of the puff pastry. Fold the side piece of puff pastry across the center, alternating and crossing to create a braid pattern and sealing with egg wash as needed. Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm.
