Bourbon Barbecue Wings

These crispy, tasty wings are a perfect appetizer—but they’re also great as an entrée. The tangy blue cheese dressing will smooth out the kick from the spicy bourbon barbecue sauce.
- 1 pound Smart Chicken wings (about 12 pieces)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup bourbon barbecue sauce
- Blue cheese dressing, as needed
- Celery sticks, as needed
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Wash chicken wings and pat dry. Place the chicken wings on a 9 X 13 sheet pan and coat the wings with olive oil. Sprinkle with the kosher salt and black pepper. Place the chicken wings on the top rack of the oven. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken wings over. Cook for another 10 minutes and flip the wings again. Turn the broiler on high and cook another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crisp.
Meanwhile, heat the bourbon barbecue sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Remove the wings from the oven and add them to the bourbon barbecue sauce; coat well. Serve immediately with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
