Maintenance Mechanic

Shift: 3rd Shift

Hours: 10:00pm – 6:30am


  • Set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality on equipment
  • Tests out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
  • Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action
  • Assists in the troubleshooting of equipment and in the equipment repairs
  • Assists experienced mechanics and technicians in the troubleshooting of electrical malfunctions
  • Other duties as required


  • Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools
  • Strong mechanical background required
  • Able to identify industry standard parts
  • Some electrical experience required
  • Able to work safely with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • 1 year experience in an meat processing or manufacturing environment preferred
    • Formal training program completion or certification can be used in as the experience requirement
