This position handles performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting, and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management, additional task as assignments by supervisor. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in the meat processing or manufacturing industry other QA type experience.
FPS Training by Q/A Leadership.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork, which includes entering date into a tablet; good problem identification and problem-solving skills; organizational skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must function well under stress; must be willing to be flexibility in work areas.
Position involves some heavy lifting (30 lbs. occasionally).
