Maintenance Mechanic

Waverly

Shift: 2nd, 3rd or 4th Shift

 

Summary

Performing as part of a team that maintains and repairs machines in a production setting, including preventive maintenance and identifying solutions to better meet performance goals.

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn new processes with minimal supervision
  • Basic knowledge of electrical motors
  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of machines
  • General knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, compressed air and welding
  • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
  • Understand and follow oral and written direction
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to perform duties listed on Mechanic Level I checklist
  • Strong mechanical background required
  • Motive Power Operator License or Waste Water Treatment Certified for level II
  • Must be at least 18yrs of age
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates degree in Mechanics/Automotive or Electrical Technology preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in Facility Maintenance and/or Automotive Mechanic
